Securing Kubernetes
The Center for Internet Security (CIS), a nonprofit entity that harnesses the power of a global IT community to safeguard private and public organizations against cyber threats is in the process of creating the Security Benchmarks for Kumbernetes, an an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. CIS is looking for experienced IT professionals and the global community to contribute to this security framework. It is like open source contribution but involves a bit of moderation to restrict exposure and protect the work of other authors.

Go to https://workbench.cisecurity.org/ and complete registration process.
Once your membership is activated, login to https://workbench.cisecurity.
Click on "Click here to begin exploring Communities"
Search and Join the Kubernetes community project.
Once you join the community, go to https://workbench.cisecurity.org/dashboard page. You should see “CIS Kubernetes Benchmarks” there. Click on it and then start contributing. You could review the current recommendations, propose new ones, file a bug ticket, open a discussion thread and participate in the community meetings and activities.
